RUF R919 T - RINGFEDER® Foldable and Telescopic underrun protection with round beam

Why Telescopic

Some vehicles use different swap body sizes, C745 (7450mm) or C782 (7820mm), resulting in a 370mm longer rear overhang with C782. If the rear underrun protection device (RUPD) is suited for C745, it won’t ensure the correct rear overhang (<300mm) for C782. Conversely, if installed for C782, it would protrude when C745 is used, risking a collision at the loading ramp.

An adjustable RUPD is required to accommodate both lengths. For the large swap body, the profile is simply extended.
